    Frank died in OK in the late 20's or early 30's. Mona wrote to Alice, trying to find info on the Ladds. She was 80 years old at that time. In the 1900 census the family lived in Sabetha, Nemaha, KS.

    At age 21 moved to WV for 5 years, then to LaSalle Co. IL for 6 years. Then to NE. This info from "History of the Elkhorn Valley, NE" Published in 1892 by C.H. Scoville and the National Publishing Co. He was one of the very first pioneers of the Elkhorn Valley, arriving in 1856. He invented a revolving harrow and a car jack and made many of each in his blacksmith shop .

In the 1910 census she was living with her son Sidney in Ewing, Holt, NE. She said she bore 7 children and all were living at that time. She was a widow at that time, she said.

He was Justice of the Peace in Lima, IN for 25 years. He lived and died at 1450 Michi gan Ave. in Chicago, IL. He left New England in 1818.
