    Pearson -- Lucille M., 92, Ord, widow of Hilding, died Saturday (3/30/02) in Overland Park, Kan. Born, Fairbury. Retired registered nurse. Survivors: sons, Dr. Douglas, Leawood, Kan., Dr. Bruce, Janesville, Wis.; five grandchildren. Services: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Roper and Sons Mortuary, 4300 O St. Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 p.m. today until services Tuesday, mortuary.

    Lucille married Hilding Oliver Nelson Pearson in May 1938 in First Christian Church,. Hilding (son of Olof Pearson and Betsey Bengtson) was born on 14 Jun 1912; died on 19 Apr 2000 in St Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri; was buried on 24 Apr 2000 in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.     LINCOLN EVENING JOURNAL - MAY 23, 1938

    The marriage of Miss Lucille Bedell, daughter of Mrs. Josephine Bedell, to Hilding O. Pearson of Ord took place Monday at 4:30 p.m. at a quiet ceremony at the First Christian church with Rev. Ray E. Hunt, officiating. Only the parents were present and the couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Daniel C. Ruden. Mr. Pearson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Pearson of Wahoo. The bride was attired in an afternoon dress of ashes of roses linen lace with luggage tan and white accessories. The dress was made on simple lines with tucked pleats in the skirt and a full blouse. A short bolero jacket of the same material was fastened with a brown zipper. Her corsage was of lillies of the valley. After the ceremony, dinner was served to the bbridal party. The wedding cake centered the table and was surrounded with sweetpeas. Mrs. Pearson attended the University of Nebraska and is a member of the Phi Mu sorority. She is a graduate of the Lincoln General hospital school of nursing. MrMr. Pearson was graduated from teh Worsham school of embalmin in Chicago, after having attended the Lutheran college in Wahoo. He was formerly with Wadlows'. The couple will live in Ord where Mr. Pearson is in partnership in the Pearson-Anderson motuary.
