Vacation Knitting
I have turned the heel and am about halfway down the foot - will post pics tomorrow.
Yesterday morning, we attended mass here and we heard this ("Adagio"), this ("Pie Jesu") and this.
It was one of the most moving experiences of my life and I will never forget it.

What did you think of the retablos? It's such a great cathedral. We were there last year, I think on one of the Sundays of Easter, and they were dunking babies like mad in the baptismal in the middle of things.
There's a CD that is made up entirely of settings of the Adagio. I love it.
We'll be in Santa Fe a week from today to retrieve the Tryon Scion for her Excellent Adventure, on which she departs two weeks from THIS MORNING!!!!!!! I love it and I hope you're staying some place kewl. The kids might be too little, still, but you and Mr Knitabit might LOVE the Don Gaspar Inn :-)
