At last...a trip to a knitting shop
I finally made it to a knitting shop today. I've been hunting around for a back issue of Vogue for quite awhile so I could get ahold of this pattern:

Made with Koigu KPPPM - just yummy!
At last, I found it - the fall 2002 issue. This may be my after-Christmas project. The pattern looks super-simple; just hope it's not so simple so as to be boring.
Also got those size 0 circulars (although I've got another pair of socks going now) and a pair of size 10 bamboo's. That will probably be my last trip to a yarn store until after the holidays (what knitting will I take with me on vacation in January...?)
Comments
I recommend that you take whatever you have on your bamboo's as the airline won't let you take metal needles...and a padded self addressed stamped envelope is also a good idea just in case they won't let you take any needles at all.

I'm knitting the Koigu turtleneck right now and it will take a long time. I'm just past the 6 ridges on the body and the rest will be stockinette, but just feeling the Koigu while I knit makes me happy so it doesn't matter how long it takes! One thought - using just one colorway is an option since the yarn is so variegated, which eliminates keeping track of the color changes.

I made this sweater, but in reds instead. Previous commenter is right; it does take forever. But knitting koigu is a dream, so who cares? Also, a very nice weight of sweater for regular wear. I don't remember what the instructions say, but I did mine in the round.
